Why isnt a menu showing up when i turn on my Nintendo Wii?
I hooked my Nintendo Wii up, I turned on my tv, and it was regular tv channels. How do i get to the wii menu? Nothing is working. When I turn it on its just regular tv, do you need a remote?

Well, I though you were talking about needing a TV remote. This depends. Look at your tv buttons (actually on the TV), and try to spot an ‘AV’ or ‘Video’ button.
Once you find it, turn on the wii, and press these button(s) until the wii screen shows up.
If the button isnt on the TV, you will need a remote. If your TV didnt come with one, or you lost it, i suggest buying a universal remote and follow its instructions.

first yes you do need a wii remote to work your wii console….
second check if your tv is on he right channel eg av1, video 1 or 2
before the menu comes up another screen should come up sayin safty stuff etc, and u need to press the a button to continue
