If you go to Gamestop and other stores which sell used video games, you should be able to find Wii games under $30. I’ve picked up "Elebits", "Call of Duty 3", "Super Paper Mario", "Super Monkey Ball" and "Rayman Raving Rabbids" all for under $30 used.
I have found some amazing sales on Wii games! In particular, on "Black Friday" (the day after Thanksgiving–biggest sale day of the year!) Best Buy had several great Wii titles on sale, for only $14.95 on a "first come, first serve" basis. I had to literally fight my way to the bins, but I got both "Metroid Prime 3" and "Resident Evil 4"!
I also picked up "Sonic and the Secret of the Rings" (not bad at all!) "The Ant Bully" (what was I thinking?) and "Chicken Shoot" (WORST game ever made, of all time, from the very dawn of history!) all for $14.95 each during those "Black Friday" sales.
There’s actually a number of titles that are only $19.95 such as "Barnyard", "Ice Age 2", "Happy Feet", but I don’t know that I’d bother. They’re really not some of the better titles, which is why they’re only $19.95 each.
You’re probably not going to find ANY discount prices on popular recent releases such as "Super Mario Galaxy", "Lego Star Wars", or "Guitar Hero 3."
I’ve noticed that when new titles come out, older titles with the same characters go on sale. For example, when "Mario vs. Sonic at the Olympic Games" came out, that’s when "Sonic and the Secret of the Rings" went on sale. Same as when "Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles" came out, "Resident Evil 4" then went on sale.
Walmart and Best Buy have been discounting older titles, and Sam’s Club and Costco both generally price Wii titles at least $5 lower than normal retail price.
Check sales flyers, particularly Best Buy, Walmart, K-Mart, Target, Circuit City, and other similar discount and electronics stores.
Looks for used games. You are not going to find very many new games for under 30 dollars. Good luck.,
good luck
