What was the reason that made you buy a Nintendo Wii?
My reason is because Super Smash Bros Brawl came out. Before its release date on March 2008, I could’ve care less about the Nintendo Wii. But when SSBB came out, I wanted one so badly to play it. On top of that, Mario Kart Wii came out, making my want for the Wii even greater. I didn’t get a Wii until like last week.
Anyways, what made you want a Nintendo Wii?

1. nintendo fan ever since the NES
2. Brawl
3. zelda tp
4. new controls
5. it looked cool for first person shooters
6. metroid
7. less secure than ps3/xbox so u can hack/mod it
8. fun for everyone
9. it looked like it was gonna have some awesome games
but nothing amazing has been released for a long time
10. VC games i wanted to play old games like zelda oot and majoras mask

Because of super smash brothers brawl, playing some of my old school retro games from back in the day. plus to lose some weight since there was Wii Sports, Wii Play and Wii Fit.
That and seeing Mario and Sonic on the same video game at the same time. Twice at that, ^__^
cheaper than a ps3
I researched and knew about the Wii when Nintendo announced the codename "Revolution" back in E3 2005. Ever since then, I’ve done research and was truly amazed with the Wii. That’s what made me buy the Wii.
the crazy games, also that new game that keeps you fit (wii-fit) the online mario kart gaming… Oh wait I take that back.. FREE online gaming (if you have wifi)

I mostly bought the Wii because of some of it’s great titles such as Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Kart Wii. Plus you don’t have to pay extra to play online. Nintendo have also pretty much also had some of the best games and stuff they develop is always top quality. Another thing is the Wii control system is a whole lot better then other current systems. I got my Wii September 2007 best console I have had in ages.

The idea of it being motion sensitive sounded good to me.
