Street Fighter – The Best of All Fighting Games

In all of gaming history is is difficult to decide on the best fighting game ever. Although the seventh installment of Tekken, an arcade game in Japan, has been released we will have to wait patiently for it to come this way. While we wait let us enjoy the new Street Fighter Game.

Released on both the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 platforms Street Fighter 4 has become a hit. It has received great reviews from all of the video game publications and, even more importantly, the fans. Much of a games success relies on the fans approval and all players of the original games agree that Street Fighter 4 is a hit.

All of the original characters are represented, in the new game, as well as new characters. Each with the signature moves that made the games exceptional. When the second game was released in the early nineties, the series had greatly improved. The popularity of the game spawned sequels, as well as motion pictures. Although the movies were not so great, fans enjoyed watching their favorite characters come to life.

In Street Fighter 4, the graphics were updated, but kept looking like the original. Original characters look new again, and still retain their classic influence. Anyone who has ever played a Street Fighter game will be able to pick up the controller and get right to action, as the fighting feels new, but somehow familiar.

Another great feature, besides playing with a friend next to you on the couch, you can hook up to the Internet and play against challengers from all around the world. It is a great way to test your skills and it is easy to find a competitor that will challenge you, but is on your same level as far as skills. I hate losing a hundred times in a row, but it is also no fun to win a hundred times in a row.
