Metroid Prime 3:
Corruption
Nintendo Wii game, the Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is essentially all about
Galactic Federation facing aggressions by the Space Pirates. Samus, the lead character, must restore the power system in order to boost the
defense capability. The aggression being faced by many planets is faced by the aggressor, Dark Samus, who together with the Space Pirates
wants to put Phazon seeds on these planets to corrupt them.
So gamers explore the planets, seek information, and demolish the seeds in order
to save the planets. Gamers will use the Nintendo remote and Nanchuk to do these tasks. But at the end, they would have to defeat the Dark
Samus to restore order throughout the whole planetary system. There are many available weapons gamers can choose from in order to defeat the
enemies. These weapons will become more powerful as the game advance. Also, the control can be used not only in the first person but in other
elements as well.
These are the basics on how the game is essentially played; the gamers can
control Samus through the use of the controller and the pointer. The Wii remote is a very effective tool in this game because it allows its
users to experience being the first person in the game at its best. The Metroid game is not a difficult or complicated game to play, it is
very much easy to use particularly on the areas of aiming, moving, and targeting. You can get in tuned to the game almost immediately because
it there is a new remote settings. This allows for a greater sensitivity in the user’s movements.
Corruption is also challenging in the sense that it involves a more dramatic game
play wherein the ship that Samus is directing would come under attack by enemies and have to find an escape route to evade all upcoming
enemies. Aside from the Space Pirates, there are also a variety of smaller enemies that Samus has to take care of.
You can expect a lot of battle and violence that rage on in this game. Ships will
trade fire with fire and soldiers will be eliminated right in front of your own eyes. Enemies from different natures will also be encountered
like there is one which is actually a biotechnological ship that can eat up a metal ship.
But through all this, the gamer should keep in mind the mission that should be
accomplished which is to restore the power. Restoring the power even if you already have the power source is challenging in itself because
there are tiny enemies that even the remote cannot easily lock into.
Overall, Corruption looks like it is the best in the Metroid series with its
graphic images and dramatic actions that unfolds everywhere you look. The visuals of this Nintendo Wii game are also at par with the best of
the Nintendo GameCube.
