   Here is a detailed simple tutorial explaning how to soft mod your wii. If you follow EVERYTHING the WAY IT IS it is 100% safe. just make sure you dont upgrade your wii more than 4.2, read everythig carefully:

   It already says there but i will just repeat to you. DO NOT GO DOING WHAT ANY TUTORIAL THERE TELLS YOU TO DO, you could end up bricking your wii. Bricking = breaking the system. DO NOT downgrade your wii… if your wii is not 4.2 just read in that first link that he gives u a link for how to do the older ones (older ones are actually better)

   It is a lot of work. Keep reading tutorials and how to’s. They are all over the internet. The more your read the more you learn. And anyone with half a brain can follow the instructions. All you have to do is try. If you see a specific word or phrase you do not understand then Google that also.

   It all depends on how bad you want it.

   ** Note ** Homebrew will VOID your warranty on your WII.

   google "homebrew on wii" and that will explain everything…….if you are going to do this DO NOTUPGRADE YOUR WII SYSTEM TO 4.3U!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS UPDATE WILL DELETE ANY MODS ON YOUR WII……the system updates are all a ****ing Conspiracy if you want my oppionion. think about it…..your wii keeps track of every game and when you play them. i think nintendo gathers this information when they update your sytem….why would they want to know what games im playing and when im playing them? this information can be valubale to them considering they have to market these games.

   Not answering really just verifying an answer. (mainly because it was the same answer I was plaining on giving).
   Follow willam or willan or whatever his name is (forgot and i just looked at it like 3 min ago).
   Don’t worry about the other answers. His will have you up and running in less then 10 min.

   Installing homebrew itself is very easy. This is my tutorial on the basic install: http://nintendo.about.com/od/nintendowiibasics/ss/homebrew_setup.htm. Once you’ve got homebrew on the console you can worry about the particulars of what you want to do, which I can’t help you on, but just homebrewing the Wii is not a big deal.
